Webinar: Human Centricity in Aged Care: The consumer, the employee and the organisation

VideoOnline Event

The Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission invites you to attend the Human Centricity in Aged Care: The consumer, the employee and the organisation webinar to be held on Wednesday 13 December 2023, 12pm (AEDT).

An increased focus on consumer centricity in the design and delivery of aged care services has highlighted a positive association between consumer experience and improved clinical outcomes. Consumer satisfaction has also been shown to be a good indicator of the quality of aged care services.

Leaders in aged care are challenged to balance this important focus on the consumer while also understanding that the people who work within the organisation are of crucial importance to the collective success. In order to be genuinely human-centric we must focus on the design and delivery of services with the consumer experience, the employee experience, and the goals of the organisation itself at the front of mind.

On Wednesday 13 December 2023, 12pm (AEDT), tune into this webinar and find out how you, your governing body, and your executive team can incorporate a human-centric approach to leadership within your organisation. Hear from panel members Anne Burgess AM, Lisa Chung AM, and Matt Mulvihill about:

  • The importance of a human centric approach to leadership in aged care
  • The importance of a focus on improving consumer centricity including questions such as:
    • What impact does a consumer centric approach create?
    • How can this concept also be applied to employees?
